AYSO Area 6D is belongs to a national membership of the American Youth Soccer Organization.

Area 6D is comprised of AYSO Regions from the Chicago Lincoln Park Area, thru the north and northwest side of Chicago, and the northern suburbs.

The following is the current list of regions.

Region 183 - Chicago Peterson Park AYSO
Region 362 - Glenview AYSO
Region 418 - Chicago Lakefrotn AYSO
Region 425 - Winnetka-Glencoe AYSO
Region 568 - Skokie AYSO
Region 735 - Evanston AYSO
Region 794 - Morton Grove AYSO
Region 891 - Highland Park AYSO
Region 1007 - Deerfield AYSO
Region 1206 - Chicago Northside AYSO

Since 2020, these regions collectively are run with volunteer power with 3,000 volunteers that serve 9,000 youth soccer players collectively.   

AYSO 6D Regions run various soccer programs for their youth and volunteer membership.

Each AYSO Region has a CORE program which is seasonal based for Fall-Spring where CORE teams play in a schedule.    Regions can play CORE games internally or externally based on their regional schedules.      Some CORE programs use an " inter-regional ' approach where there are games that are played between regions.

AYSO 6D also has an AYSO EXTRA program which offers CORE players to join a select team representing their region in EXTRA Play.    The EXTRA Play Season is combined of AYSO Regions that join the AYSO EXTRA 6D / 6A Schedule.
