The following needs to be completed before going to the Class Session and Field Presentation. All Online Courses to be completed at AYSOU.org with your AYSO Volunteer Account. The following are requirements to be completed before attending the In-Person Course. Total number of hours for online training and homework is approximately 8 hours.
- 12U Coach Certification (completed)
- AYSOU 14U - Intermediate PreCourse Part 1 and Part 2 Online Completed
- AYSOU Summary of the Laws of the Game Online Completed
- AYSOU Safe Haven Online Completed
- AYSOU CDC (Concussion) Online Completed
- Homework Assignment due at In-Person Course
- Homework Assignment is to create a 14U Training Session Plan for presentation.
- Email Field Presentation / 14U Training Session Plan to the Course Contact.

Intermediate Coach Homework
Hello Coaches,
Welcome you to the Intermediate Coach Training .
As required, you are to work on completed training plan - from technical warm-up through small sided match no later than 6:00 pm the day before the course.
Please email the training plan to the instructor.
Use the forms provided for your lesson plans. You will be coaching two or more of the stages contained in your training plan during the field session of this course. You will need to list at the top of your plan, the topic you will be coaching such as dribbling, attacking in the last third, possession to penetrate etc. Some defending topics are pressure, cover, balance and zonal defending in a back four etc.
All the information you need for this class is included in the AYSOU Training sections. I have to reiterate once again that attendance alone does not guarantee you a pass. You must complete all the pre-requisites as well as participate in class to show that you read and understood the materials. Completing the prerequisites and class participation is about 40 points towards your final grade. Please dress properly as you may have to play if we are unable to get 14U age kids for the field session.
